We’re at it again! Today, the FogBugz team is releasing Case Lightboxes to all FogBugz On Demand accounts. We hope you’ll love them as much as we do.
A Lightbox is a layer that opens up above the existing page, dimming out the rest of the web page. We’ve made our cases lightboxed, as a faster way to interact with cases on the Case List, Iteration Planner and Notifications pages. Don’t recognize a case by the title? Just click, and it will open in front of your existing page with the complete history visible for you, with no page reloads.
If you’d like to edit the case, just click Edit like you normally would, and everything is available for you within the lightbox.
Want to go to the next one in the list? Just click the arrows in the top left!
To get back to the original page, just click outside the lightbox or hit escape and it will close it. You’ll never forget which filter you were looking at!
This change should make working with cases much quicker – like when assigning cases in Iteration Planner, you can now get an overview of a case to determine if it belongs in your current sprint. Just open up the lightbox, check it out, and then you can move, assign, or estimate it.
