Developer Contest: Get Into Nature Challenge

natureContestBanner

June 15th hails the eleventh annual Nature Photography Day. It’s a day that promotes the enjoyment of nature photography and the great outdoors in general. Everyone is encouraged to enjoy the natural world, whether that’s walking, hiking, riding a bike to taking photos in your backyard, park, or elsewhere.

HyperDev Get Into Nature Challenge

To celebrate, we’re running a contest. The rules are simple: two weeks to develop something interesting using HyperDev that promotes nature and getting out into the outdoors. It could be anything – maybe a web app showing off some fab nature imagery, or perhaps something that makes it easy to find trail routes or find your way around outdoors. It’s up to you. Our community projects are a good place to start something new.

We’ll pick one winner who will nab a set of outdoor gadgets that are sure to help you enjoy the great outdoors in style. There are bonus points for putting together helpful materials (a blog post or screencast etc.) that shows off the value of what you’ve built. Extra points too for those who also list their entry in the HyperDev gallery.

Entries are now closed.

The winner will receive:

  • 2 Therm-a-Rest Treo Chairs
  • A GoSun Sport Solar Oven
  • A Philips ShoqBox Bluetooth Wireless Speaker
  • A MiniPresso GR Espresso Maker
  • A Grayl Quest Tap Water Filter
  • And of course, some sweet HyperDev contest winner only swag.

What’s This Developer Contest All About?

We want to encourage developers to try HyperDev and build things. As a developer playground for quickly building full-stack web apps, we want to see developers, of all abilities, create cool projects with HyperDev. To spark your imagination we run regular developer contests.
